Church Ministry Opportunities    Thanks for all those that attended our Ministry Sunday lunch. Training for the different departments will start in February. We'll be in touch! Regular Events

To let you know what's coming up this year, please find more details of our regular church events below...

English as a Second Language

Classes are on Tuesday nights from 7.30pm - 9pm during school terms. Small class sizes for Beginners to Advanced levels. New students welcome anytime. Cost of $2 per week per student.

Prayer Ministry Training

This is a 4 hour course and is to teach people how to pray for others. It will give a background to sickness and the different ways to pray for people. It will focus particularly on ministering in the Spirit as we pray. This course is essential for those who want to be involved in praying for people at the conclusion of our services. There will be two courses held during the year, one on a Monday night and the other on a Saturday morning.

Set Free Weekends

This is an 8 hour course and will be held over a Friday night and full Saturday. The subjects covered include Understanding our Core Identity, Belief Systems, Generational Curses, Soul Ties and Forgiveness. This course includes practical prayer ministry for release from any spiritual oppression and bondages. There will be two courses held this year.

Understanding the Spiritual World

This is a 3 hour course held over two Monday nights. The course looks at the spiritual realm, its inhabitants and how they relate to the world in which we live. It will also look at the dangers of relating to the spiritual world in the wrong way.

Dealing with Issues

A number of these will be held over the year on a Monday night. Subjects include Rejection, Fear, Shame and other topics. It will look at the biblical solution to the problem as well as a time of practical ministry.

Community Outreach Seminars

We conduct a four week Parenting Seminar. This is a government endorsed program that gives guidelines and assistance in raising our children. We also run a four week Drug Proofing your Kids Seminar. This is a government endorsed program and gives parents insight into the drug culture as well as what parents can do to help their children.

Women's Coffee Nights

These will be a series of mid week women's outreach meetings. A time for building relationships and enjoying a guest speaker. These meetings are also great opportunities to reach out to your neighbours.

Mens Get Together's

A number of early Saturday morning breakfasts will be held during the year. These are for fellowship and a low key environment for men to get together and have some fun. Also a great opportunity to invite your friends.

Church Outings

There will be a number of organized church functions during the year either on a Sunday after church or Saturday night. These are meant to be fun activities and are good opportunities to invite people to experience Christian fellowship.

Worship Nights

This are for church members to come and pray for the church and community in an atmosphere of worship.

Breakthrough Celebrate Recovery

Breakthrough is held Friday night's from 7pm till 9 pm at the church. It is a Christian based 12 step program that runs twice a year for 15 weeks. It is open to anyone. Get in contact to find out when the next course is running.

Short Term Mission

Every year there is the opportunity to be involved in a short term mission trip to the Philippines. This involves a series of training meetings where full training is provided in all aspects of mission work. A team from 15-30 members from various churches are involved in this city wide work.

Home Groups

Small group meetings are held on various days of the week.
