The Book of Acts continues...

Sunday, April 17, 2011

Our church has just returned from a two week Crusade to the city of Dumaguete in the Philippines. Over this time we witnessed over 1200 people accept the Lord and we saw over 500 families followed up and agree to hold further bible studies in their homes. It was an amazing experience to see the Kingdom of God advance with signs and wonders giving evidence to the power of God at work. The majority of the sixteen team members were from Peninsula but we had others from Sydney and a contingent from Yass. It was a blessing to work with fellow Australian believers from different churches who came together in unity with our Filipino brothers and sisters.

There were some tremendous opportunities when we visited the city mayors and the island governor. On all of these occasions we were given the privilege to pray for these people and their heads of departments that God would give them wisdom to lead their city wisely and with justice for all. We were also able to visit and pray for 100's of people in the city hospital and distribute free bibles.

Every team member witnessed many physical and emotional healings as they prayed for people during the night crusades and the follow-up home visitations. We also distributed about 2000 free bibles during our follow-up, many people having never read or even owned a bible.

Finally, we had the tremendous privilege of ministering into many churches during their Sunday services. Hopefully they were encouraged and blessed as much as we were. I know everyone is looking forward to our next Crusade in 2012, please contact us if you are interested and want to be used and stretched by God.
