If you are struggling in any area of your life, this is a prayer that will give permission for Jesus to set you free.

Heavenly Father, I confess that I have sinned against You and I acknowledge my need of Your Son, Jesus Christ.

I thank you that He died on the cross for me and I accept Him as my Saviour. I invite Him now to be Lord of every area of my life - Lord of my spirit and my relationship with Him; Lord of my spiritual awareness and worship, Lord of my mind, my attitudes and beliefs, my imagination, my dreams, and all my thoughts;

Lord of my emotions, my expression of my feelings and all my reactions; Lord of my will and all my decisions; Lord of my coping mechanisms and my behaviour cycles; Lord of my body, my physical health, my exercise, my diet, my rest, my appearance and all my behaviour; Lord of my eyes and what I look upon;

Lord of my ears and everything I listen to; Lord of my mouth and what I speak; Lord of my hands and all that I do; and Lord of my feet and everywhere that I go; Lord of my sexuality and its expression; Lord of my time, my work, my ministry, my pleasure, my home, my family, my possessions, my perceived needs, my finances, my plans, my ambitions, my future and all my relationships.

Thank you, Jesus, that You shed Your blood for me that I might be set free. I ask for this to be a reality in my life in Jesus name, Amen.
